Susan is a graduate of the California State University at Fresno
where she earned a bachelor's degree in Nutrition-Dietetics. She
completed her internship at Wadsworth Veterans Administration Hospital
in Los Angeles, California.
Susan is a nutrition consultant and a diabetes educator. She is a
nutrition manager at INOVA and provides individual diet instructions and
educational community and corporate classes. Susan has worked as a
clinician dietician at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, a nutritionist at the
Austin-Travis County Health Department in Texas and a clinical dietician
at Harbor-U.C.L.A. Medical Center.

Medical history including weight and family history
Review of laboratory tests
Assessment of supplement and medication usage
Food intolerance and allergies
Diet history and review of current eating habits
Assessment of nutrition needs
Implement a tailored plan of care
Appointments are on Wednesdays and one Monday a month

Fees: Appointments are $150 per hour.
A medical diagnosis and a physician referral maybe
needed for insurance to cover nutrition therapy however many insurance
do not cover nutrition counseling. I am a provider for
Aetna and Cigna. I am in the Carefirst and United Health Care options
discount program. This entitles you to a 10% discount.
